There are many types of ceremonies one may choose, or you may opt to create
one of your own.  I am happy to give suggestions and help in any way.

I can also custom write a ceremony, which would be personalized according to
your values, feelings of love, marriage, religious beliefs, experiences, what you
honor and hold close in your own hearts.

I will give you printed copies of different types of ceremonies which you may
personalize and edit to your hearts content.

There are quick and simple ceremonies.  There are more elaborate ceremonies,
which may incorporate other people, children, parents and activities. Should you
want traditional, alternative, non-denominational, Christian, religious, spiritual,
civil, casual, elegant, second marriages, vow renewal or custom, I want your
wedding to be all that you dreamed it would be. Remember this is a unique time
in your lives, as this is all about YOU!  It is good to take a moment out of your
busy life and give thanks that you found each other.

A brief listing below are some additional ideas one may incorporate into any
ceremony.  I will also talk about other services, including renewal of vows and
ideas on the
Services Page of this site.

  • Various Readings:
Poems, Prayers and Blessings
  • Flower Ceremony:
This is a family/friends ceremony. Each designated person comes up and places
a different flower in a vase to create a garden of love.
  • Honoring the Mothers:
A brief reading is done and then the bride and/or groom present their mother(s)
with a small gift (flowers usually).
  • The Blessing of the Rings:
The wedding ring is the visible sign of a bond which unites two loyal hearts in
everlasting love.  It is a seal of the vows made to one another. It symbolizes
living together in unity and love for the rest of their lives.
  • Unity Candle, Unity Cup and Sand Ceremony:
These ceremonies all symbolize individual lives joining together as one. They
can be performed with just the couple or you may add children and or parents
into the ceremony.
  • Children Services:
Many couples are remarrying and want to include their children in the
ceremony.  There are numerous ways this may be done. We can discuss this.
  • Remembrance and Silent Blessing:
A special blessing honoring the deceased.  They may include specific names or
a general statement, followed by a brief moment of silence.
  • Flower to Honor Deceased:
Bride and groom have a flower in which they pluck the flower pedals off and
throw them into the air, giving thanks and love.
Your Own Unique Ideas:
Incorporate special moments, how you met, your loving feelings.

I want to be of help to you by providing resources which will alleviate stress.
Together we can create a pleasurable journey towards your ceremony.

Types Of Ceremonies
For your ceremony you want a wedding officiant/minister to know you, connect
with you, and care about you, your values and ideas.  Above all, you want an
officiant/minister you can trust implicitly.  My goal is for you and your fiancé to
trust me to be confident, enthusiastic, and calming for you, your family and loved
ones. In this way I can guide you through your vows, so that you will embrace
and savor every precious moment of this very important day.
Love is not something
you feel.  It is something
you do. - David Wilkerson
